![]() ![]() For some strange reason this entry is not created or something else doesn't work.Ĭould you also be so kind and actually LIST or point me to an existing list for all Majesty 2 ingame store items you should get with the Collection (I'm not talking about the official expansions)? "InstallDLC.exe" copies some new files to the game folder, but "M2CollectionDLCRepair.exe" is just a text file that, according to the contents of "install_script" file inside it, should add a registry entry which should validate all the remaining DLCs (so assassin class, at least 2 new missions and level 4 weapons). I even opened the "InstallDLC.exe" and "M2CollectionDLCRepair.exe" installers with innounp. I've removed all registry entries, I've redownloaded the game 5 times. Run "InstallDLC.exe" and "M2CollectionDLCRepair.exe" from "support" folder inside Majesty 2 Collection main folder.ĥ. Start the game, quit after reaching main menu.Ĥ. ![]() Download a clean copy of Majesty 2 Collection to a new folder.ģ. Delete the game using steam's "delete local cache" option.Ģ. Let me explain how I "install the game"ġ. I found the "fixer file" inside the game's "support" folder, but it doesn't work. It's the official link posted on the steam forums. I can't tell, because I get "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action." when I use this adress Lvl 2 marketplace means more cash money (good) and rings of protection which really helps prevent hero death (bad).Īfter transitioning to lvl 2 palace and marketplace though your kingdom should be set and glory yours for the taking.Hey. 2 so that you can upgrade your marketplace to lvl 2. Try not to get too low on the cash though, during the time you are establishing these 3-4 guilds you need to save up an upgrade your Palace to lvl. Wait until immediately after a wave spawns to set up a 100 reward flag on nearby creature dens, your heros are much more responsive to reward flags early on than most people think. Pay attention to enemies wave, they tend to have set timers and after two or three attacks you should get a feel on when the dens are going to spawn. I would say that should come after you have about 3-4 fully staffed guilds with at least tier one upgrades finished, if not upgraded to second tier for those juicier upgrades.ĭuring this time though you need to be using cheap flags to make sure your heroes are scouting out the area and responding to threats. Maybe you want to get out that blacksmith so you have some heavily armored dudes running around, but it's not worth the investment early on. Beasts roaming about? Lay down the rangers guild. Example: Graveyards nearby? Place down a cleric and warrior guild. The kinds of enemies or dens will determine what kinds of guilds you need to put down. Those questions are vital to the developement of your kingdom. How much gold do you have? Do you see any enemies roaming nearby? Are there any creature dens in the immediate location? One of the main reasons to go with marketplace first, and almost always a guardhouse nearby because that building is so stupidly important for your kindgom, is to evaulate the situation. Unlike the original Majesty I haven't witnesssed heros immediately go purchase potions when they're purchased, but they still go relatively quickly after obtaining some cash. My first building is always the marketplace, being able to get health potions to your heros is key to early success. I had better results in the endgame.when i put 4 x 500 gold rewards on Buildings defense or Lairs destruction :pįrom my experience the first few minutes always pose the most difficulty, whether it be Majesty or Majesty 2. On many occasions, heroes take a long time to react. ![]() The rest was carefull planning and upgrading. Then i did the opposite : started to build a Guard Guild, then a Temple and produced 6 heroes who took care of the main business. I stopped the game after 5 minutes of this nonsence. My second try was allmost like your exemple : i started building a defense tower right to my castle.and found myself in a funny never ending story, with squeletons endlessly attacking the 20% built tower my workers would repair. This game ended in a never ending multispawn everywhere. I had built my 1st defense tower too south, thus useless. In my 1st one i had my first hero being stupidly killed (they go to explore after a fight with 10% of health remaining after a fight, i've seen that several times), so squeletons from the cemetary added too the rats from the sewers and the squeletons from a close Ancient graveyard. In fact i took 3 tries to complete mission 2 (the caravans). ![]()
